What is the Theory Test?
The driving theory test is a computer-based test that you must pass before you can take your practical driving test. It consists of two parts:
Multiple Choice Questions
- 50 questions
- 43 out of 50 required to pass
- 57 minutes to complete
- Covers rules of the road and safe driving practices
Hazard Perception Test
- 14 video clips
- Scoring up to 5 points per clip
- 44 out of 75 required to pass
- Tests ability to spot developing hazards
